LPH Pupil Becky Morgan Wins on European Tour

Words can not describe how happy I am for Becky Morgan!

She secured her first professional title with a two shot victory in the Hero Womens Indian Open.

In her 18th year on tour and after rounds of 72, 72, 68 and 69, for a total of 281, seven-under-par, she could finally enjoy her moment in the sun.

I have worked with Becky for over 2 years and I am so pleased for her to finally get the Win. 18 years on tour is a long time and its fair to say that Becky started to wonder if the magic W would ever come. She played so well and held herself together tremendously, with continuous pressure from 3 other players.

I was sat at home watching, feeling so nervous! But Becky seemed pretty calm, a lot calmer than she has been before in similar situations.

Becky lives in America but often pops back to Ross on Wye to visit family and we catch up when we can. We are in regular contact via face time too which works really well. The day after her victory we spoke and it was great to see a big cheesy grin on her face! The replica trophy is not quite as big as the one in the picture above but is still a good size. She told me it needs a clean as it's had a few G & T's in it! Good girl, enjoy it!

This win gives Becky a 2 year exemption on tour which will mean she will play full time in Europe, chasing some more Win's and maybe a place on the Solheim Cup!

Becky was kind enough to send me a short testimonial :

'The last few years of working with Oli has really helped improve my putting. I am technically a better putter and also a better green reader. We always have good fun while working together and Oli's passion for improvement is really helpful'
