Oli Leett - Specialist Putting Coach
Oli Leett
Since becoming a putting coach in 2012, I've had the privilege of working with golfers of all levels, from your weekend warriors to the pros on tour such as Hayley Davis, Ryan Fox and Phil Price.
My mentors; Phil Kenyon, David Orr and Mark Sweeney, have been instrumental in my development as a coach.
What sets me apart is my ability to tailor my coaching approach to each individual's unique needs.
I am a certified Level 3 AimPoint instructor and I’ve taught the Express read to over 1500 golfers.
My sessions incorporate various modern training aids, such as the SAM PuttLab, our Calibration Station, Visio aids and Vertex to provide detailed feedback and help golfers refine their skills.

My Story
My golfing journey started long before I can remember. The photo above shows me at just two years old, proudly holding a putter with my dad – perhaps that’s where it all began.
As a child, I spent countless hours putting around the house and on local fields before joining Penrhos Golf Club as a junior. With a fantastic group of talented juniors pushing each other, I quickly progressed through the ranks, earned a low handicap, and was selected for the Welsh Under-16 squad.
After college, I turned professional in 2010 and completed my PGA training at Lilley Brook Golf Club. One thing had always been clear to me – my passion was the short game. That passion led me to specialise in putting, and since 2012 I’ve dedicated my career to helping golfers of all abilities become better putters.
The Leett Putting Hub Philosophy.
At Leet Putting Hub, I believe great putting isn't about constantly searching for a new technique.
It's about building a system that you can trust.
1. Calibrate your equipment
Start with a putter that's right for you.
2. Calibrate your setup
Know exactly what "good" looks like.
Your setup should be measured and checked regularly so you can consistently return to your own normal. I will work with you to do this with my specifically designed LPH Calibration Towel to calibrate ball position, stance width, distance from the ball, body alignment and shaft lean. Just 10 minutes a day repeating this, will drastically improve your putting.
3. Understand your technical tendencies
Every golfer has natural tendencies.
Your path, face control, strike, angle of attack and movement patterns all influence how you roll the ball. Rather than guessing, I will identify your tendencies, understand why they happen and give you practice drills that will help you to improve them.
4. Calibrate your speed
Know how far you hit your putter.
Just as every golfer knows how far they hit a 7-iron, I will make sure you know how far you hit your putter using different stroke lengths whilst keeping a consistent tempo.
5. Calibrate your process
I'll ensure that you know exactly what you do before, during and after every putt.
Before the putt:
- Read the green.
- Judge the slope.
- Visualise the journey.
- Feel the pace.
- Aim with confidence.
During the putt:
- Keep your eyes stable.
- Keep your mind quiet.
- Commit fully.
After the putt:
- Learn from the outcome.
- Was the read correct?
- Did it start on line?
- Was the speed right?
- Use that information to make a better decision next time.
6. Calibrate your practice
Every practice session should contain three elements:
- Calibration
- Skill Development
- Performance
7. Improve 1% every day
The goal isn't perfection. The goal is to become a little more consistent every single day.
To know where good is, return to it daily and to keep improving.
